How to flower as a mystic ie Mystic Rose
A rose flower, flowers on a plant laden with thorns. The Earth nourishes the plant through its roots. The same fluid that nourishes thorns, leaves, branches and flowers too. They all are not against flower but supporting them. Our judgement differed about its thorns and flowers. God is providing same energy to all of us, each of us has distinct role to play.
Same is the path of becoming a Mystic, Mystic Rose. The compassion, like fragrance of rose towards everyone after attaining it, is due to this realisation that they all helped in flowering.
This compassion is ultimate Love, that Jesus talked about, to attain by everyone. This is Dharma or Dhamma or धर्म or religion of being a human. Just like a magnet attracts iron towards it, a human being naturally proceeds towards God knowingly or unknowingly. Wrongly imposed as Dharma (religion) on the person due to birth in family of followers of a particular rules of society. Magnet’s colour, size etc etc does not affect its property of attracting iron. In same way intrinsic property of being a human is search, experiment and learn so as to find his self or consciousness etc etc. So this does not change by following any group’s rule. धर्म or religion or Dhamma of every human being is same: to search. This is why top richest person in world committed suicide in past. In search they reached top but could not find it. It was within! Without breaking connection from within you cannot reach to top. That is why Lao Tzu said never race for top position. The futility of whole life’s effort realised in that moment. Still the effort, may be in wrong direction, never goes wasted. It is as per Indian scriptures that all such efforts will carry their due weightage will remain with the person even after one’s death. I went on betting just because of this line. I also didn’t know that my direction is wrong or right!
God nourishes our soul same as the roots of plants/trees nourishes it. Just the action is reverse, the Earth is below the tree and God nourishes from above.
That is why Indian mystics have depicted this world as an inverted tree. Thoughts in our mind are its leaves. Desires etc are its branches and Ego is the Stem.
Our breathing seems to me as it’s roots.
When no-mind and no-ego state coincides in that moment you go beyond breathing and Ego at the same time. For that moment the tree becomes non existent or the world evaporates for that moment and you get the experience of your Soul/Self/Consciousness/Tao for first time. Osho says experiencing it is becoming it too. Mystic Kabir said : प्रेम गली अति सँकरी, जा में दो ना समाय। Means : Path to the ultimate Love is very narrow, in which only one remains. When you and your world is no more then only you comes to know the answer of ‘Who am I?’.
There is no other way to know your reality. It can only be experienced like Love, Beauty and Truth. Even expressing it is impossible, you can only become it to know it. By becoming it only you can experience who you are? That is why Upanishads says that ultimate Jnana (ज्ञान या प्रज्ञान या प्रज्ञा ) is this declaration that ‘अहं ब्रह्मस्मि’। Mansoor, a Mohammadan mystic, declared ‘अनलहक’ – I am the truth.
This is that extra which when added to an ordinary person makes him an extraordinary person. I kept searching my life about this extra and finally comes to know that it is within only.
In that moment transformation happens. Now you know your destiny. The path is still very long but what I sacrificed is nil as compared to what I got. Earlier I kept noting down the losses I have to suffer in this journey and like a gambler I kept gambling so that one day this all may get recovered with equally great profit. Still the price paid is nil.
Now you have seen the light at the end of the tunnel. The journey becomes easy because there is hope in your heart. Your heart is fully filled with the grace of God that fell upon you in that moment. It is beyond our capacity and only his grace can be of any help. Now the God is with you!
Meditation is the first step one can take. But this is only half the job. Still immediately it can be done at least.
If you want to fill already filled to its brim pot with God’s grace then you need to empty it first. The society and religion has started filling it before you could recognise your mother after birth! All that is not a waste because the thorns on a rose plant are there to help it flower. Still the flowering does not happens on thorns!
Meditation is like beginning of budding to become rose flower ultimately. Just like a bud, one needs to go far away from thorns-they are of great help still- for flowering. All your knowledge about you and God is to put aside only by remaining in society. Nanak lived, Kabir lived in the society. Just all your knowledge, education, expertise needed to be kept aside. It works well till date but like first stage of a satellite launch vehicle. After its purpose is over it needs to be separated from the remaining part otherwise the mission will fail.
All the labels you got from society to earn your bread and butter and respectful in society needs to be dropped for yourself at least. Not only that the pride and grief you felt also needs to be dropped. They all are part of mind-body system and in the search of soul they are of no use.
Osho Mystic Rose meditation is just for getting rid of all these from yourself. Anyone can do it at home or in open/closed space where no one is able to listen you.
