You are right here that we ‘experience’ a tiny slice of existence at a time. I just wish to amend it from my own experience ‘we experience a tiny slice of time ie present moment but in that moment we experience whole infinite existence itself! A bird is chirping, a flower is spreading its fragrance and wind is making trees dance etc etc infinite activities are happening in that moment. We are not able to recognise it because we are so busy in our thoughts.
My comment here may be of some more help in growing your understanding through experimenting in your life because than only it could blossom and spread its fragrance to the world around. Then only you will be able to listen and experience most of the natural phenomenon occurring around you while doing any job at hand. That is ecstasy, then there is no need to go anywhere to get relaxed. Job and relaxation happening simultaneously!
