The world is like a kid playing a game using his toys and his one hand is on toy acting as police and another hand is boys playing a toy like a thief. You can treat the kid as Shiva. Now the kid or Shiva is not going to become a lower himself… as per your quoted sentence but is just watching the game played. Shiva is watcher like the kid is watching the game played by himself and the kid (ie you and me too are shiva but we have forgotten our shiva hood due to ego and desires).
