I found spirituality to be pragmatic and idealistic at the same time. Logical thinking and rational reasoning were the basis of spirituality.’

You need to realise your soul first. Realising happens on its own. It takes time depending upon your yearning or thirst to know it. Once you know yourself by seeing your soul ie it is an experience like orgasm. Then only you can say you know your self. You come to know the RESLITY of whole world by knowing your self.

You begun and ended just by reading books. There is nothing from your own experiences in this post.

Let me correct it.

Knowing yourself is the religion of everyone. While journeying towards it the experiments you do with yourself and understanding that grows like a tree is wisdom. Spirituality is illogical and cannot be reasoned out, it is beyond mind experience that is why it is called transcendence. Philosophy is logical and reasoning based. My article on it:
