In my opinion only this sentence represents true vedantic statement. As it points towards death of an enlightened being, who has left his body willingly on a pre decided time or suddenly after declaring it. All other deaths does not falls under this catagory.

Rest is rituals and stories behind the rituals same as in other older civilisations and their scriptures. Indian Mystic Kabir says that those who died without achieving no-mind state in the end can never return and speak about journey of their soul. Only enlightened persons are able to come back but even Jesus refused to request of Simon the Peter to go for funeral of his father. Jesus resurrected third day after his leaving body on cross after saying ‘Thy shall be done’. He chews piece of meat and his chewing is so unique that his followers could recognise him.
