Say ‘Namaste’ to the Hindus, who practice caste in America

What I first came to know about it recently, I was astonished that instead of learning from west they are nurturing this rotten system there also? Then what is the meaning of living there?

If one in two Indian upper caste is probably a case of multiple mental disorders then in USA about 99% of them are such cases of mental disorders like schizophrenia, cognitive dissonance and neurosis etc.

How they can survive practising caste discrimination while living and enjoying freedom for themselves without such diseases?

This is why I suggest that the real struggle begins after passing of the law. We needed to train ourself and our kids to tackle the situation very smartly. There is an app available in USA, World Reborn by Wicked Saints Studio. It is for training kids to tackle racism in a polite manner. This app needed to be customised to train our kids and youngsters too, so that they can tackle ‘the person from ancient oppressor’ born and brought up in a family where it became a tradition for centuries.

Here I am sharing link of a blog post Hindus in America practice caste created by Ambedkar King Study Circle, California, USA. They have a dedicated YouTube channel where they h ave Practice of caste in USA-discussion series, worth learning from, on caste discrimination practice in USA.

In India if we wish to eradicate this contagious disease, called Caste Discrimination or many popular alias, then our struggle is going to be much tougher than theirs. Since we do not have such people at top to understand from unbiased mind. We have laws against it but that is proved futile because people are practising it so much so that they keep practising it after leaving their Motherland. Actually in India it is seen as a matter of pride and elders share stories with kids about how mercilessly they used to treat them! In book ‘ Gulamgiri, published in 1873, Jyotiba Fule- the writer and great social reformer, explained few of them in English in preface of the book. Since the book is in Marathi language so that when it’s copy sent to head of states, thanking for abolishing of slavery,is read in USA and UK then they can understand it by comparison.

Even in America we need to do it very politely like saying Namaste to the discriminator. I have written a post on Namaste-one of the meaning. When we do not want to talk to a person then also we use , then it means ‘ the communication with you that is possible at this moment is this only still I respect the godliness in you’. It is used a bye 👋 here, in a very polite manner to avoid any further communication. We need to restrain ourself and avoid use of JaiBhim during such situations. Since this slogan has done its job by bringing all of us together at one platform.
